Prayer
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” - Matthew 7;7-8.
God commands and invites believers in Jesus Christ to pray regularly and frequently, especially in times of trouble.  There is a prayer chain available to anyone with a prayer concern.  If you need prayer and want others in the church to pray for you or someone close to you, contact the church office or the Pastor with specific needs and the prayer chain will be initiated.  You may also email a prayer request to the Pastor here. There is a prayer box located in the narthex just outside of the worship center where you can leave your prayer requests at any time and the pastor will include these special requests in his Sunday morning worship prayer.

Prayer is essential to a life with God; after all that is how we communicate with him.  Prayer is not only central to our worship services at Family of Christ but also to our everyday life as individual Christians.  We encourage prayer requests during the worship service.  Materials such as "Portals of Prayer" are available in the narthex.  We encourage you to take them home to use for your own personal prayer devotionals throughout the week.
