Family of Christ's Small Groups typically consist of six to twelve people who are studying scripture together. These groups gather in members' homes or at the church and have a time of study and fellowship together, typically on a weekly basis. The sessions last from an hour to an hour and half. The groups often have some sort of project that they work on together, either within the church or out in the community. The object is to take what is learned and put it into action. The groups may consist of people with common interests, or by age, or gender, or simply folks who are interested in the same study. The length of each study is usually no more than six weeks. Recently we have done small group studies on missions and evangelism. We have also done a "40 Days of Love" group study and an "Externally Focused Life" study. Sometimes all groups are participating in the same study, just on different days/evenings. Other times, groups may be participating in a variety of different studies. Family of Christ's small groups are open to the community. We invite and encourage you to participate, regardless of church affiliation.
